Terms of use — Trípode
Last updated: September 2026
Trípode is a free web tool, operated by Marco Orta, to publish and measure the performance of videos on TikTok. It is open to any creator who wants to manage their own TikTok account: it is not an internal tool nor a product limited to a team or to the operator's own accounts, and sign-up is public and open to anyone.
1. Sign-up
Anyone can create a free account with their email address. Access uses a single-use code sent to that email, which expires after a few minutes; Trípode does not use passwords. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority in your country, to sign up.
2. Connecting your TikTok account
To publish, you need to connect your own TikTok account through TikTok's official authorization (OAuth) flow, which shows you exactly which permissions you are granting before you accept them. By connecting your account you confirm that you own it or are authorized to operate it, and you agree to also comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and policies, including the Music Usage Confirmation and the Branded Content Policy. You can connect and manage several of your own accounts from the same Trípode account.
3. What Trípode does with your account
Once your account is connected, you can upload a video and publish it directly to your profile (Direct Post), or send it as a draft to your TikTok inbox to review there before publishing. Either way, you choose, before every upload, the video's privacy setting, who can comment, duet or stitch it, and whether you're disclosing commercial content (your own brand or branded content). Trípode also shows you how your published videos performed: views, likes, comments, shares, and your account's public numbers.
4. Content responsibility
You are responsible for the content you upload and publish, and for holding the necessary rights to it (likeness, music, trademarks). Trípode does not review or modify the content beyond what is needed to prepare and send it to TikTok's publishing API.
5. Availability and warranty
Trípode is provided "as is" and free of charge, without a guarantee of continuous availability. It depends on TikTok's API and may be affected by platform changes, limits or outages.
6. Account closure and revocation
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from TikTok's own settings or from Trípode, and you can delete your Trípode account entirely from within the tool. Doing so removes the tokens and data associated with it, as detailed in the privacy policy.
7. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. For any question, email contacto@ortamarco.me.
